Step by Step Guide on the Egg Donor Process

1. Register for our online donor database. Once registered a password will be emailed to you, this can take up to 24hours. Select your top 4 donor choices and their detailed profiles will then be emailed through to you.
2. Confirm when you would like your process to begin, confirm your top 2 donor choices with us and we will confirm their availabilities. 3. Confirm final donor selection, send through copies of both partners’ passports and your residential address. We then send through your Contract and Invoice.
4. Contracts are then signed, the 1st payment of 60% is paid upon signing of the contracts. Once the signed contract and proof of 1st payment has been received, we shall then reserve your egg donor for you. The final payment is then due one month prior to your donors departure to the selected location.
5. You will then be put in contract with the International Patient Case Manager with the clinic, They will be responsible for sending out all intending parents timelines , medical protocol’s , blood tests needed for each partner and sperm analysis reports.
6. Egg Donor cycles are synced with intending mother according to the timelines that are sent out. You will need to be on birth control for between 6-8weeks prior to your donor cycle so that we can ensure that both intending mother and egg donor cycles are synched. 7.Donor group arrives at Clinic during the dates given and will be there for 11/12days. 8. You have two option in-terms of providing the sperm samples either fresh or frozen. For fresh sperm you will need to travel to the clinic and arrive 3days before the donors egg pick up. For the shipping of frozen sperm to the clinic , this will be arranged with your case manager. 9. The eggs are fertilized by method of ICSI and left to develop up to day 5 blastocyst 1-2 day 5 embryos are then transferred to the intending mother.
Tests Needed By You:
1. Both you and your partner will need to have completed a recent infectious screening
panel no older than 3months old. These tests are usually:
 HIV
 HEP B & C
 VDRL
2. Your Husband/Partner will need to have a recent sperm analysis no older than
6months this will need to be provided to the clinic before you arrive.
3. The intending mother will need to have an ultra sound to rule out any cysts or
problems with the uterus before commencing endometrial preparation for your
donor cycle.
4. We would like each of our intending mothers to be able to complete a trial
endometrium preparation 4weeks before your scheduled egg donor cycle , the trial
endometrial preparation is especially helpful to Woman cycling over the age of 40 ,
this is to ensure that your body responds correctly to the medications used to
thicken you endometrium for optimal embryo transfer results. The trial
endometrium preparation helps to be able to tailor make each individual intending
mothers medical protocol as best suited to your body and greatly reduces cancelled
embryo transfers due to thin endometrium linings.
5. You will need to have the following medications prescribed to you by either your GP
or assisting IVF doctor. The medications required are listed below:
 2 months’ supply of Mixed estrogen and progesterone Birth control Pills
(BCP) eg: Yasmin or microgynon. Please start these on day 2 of the period 2
months prior to you donor cycle if you are not already on BCP.
 Progynova 2 mg – 60 tablets to start 1 tablet 3 times a day from day 2 of the
period of your donor IVF cycle.
 5 Climara patches of 100mcg just in case.
6. If you will be using your own IVF doctor in your home town , they might use their
own method of endometrial preparation , this will be fine please just inform your
clinic case manager so that they are aware of any changes.
7. Before you depart to arrive at the location of your donor IVF cycle you might opt to
